My Story

Orion's coat is like the night sky: mostly black with spots of white stars. He also has a white belly he would love you to pet. He is shy at first, but warms up to confident pets. Orion showed up one day in a good Samaritan's backyard in the spring of 2022. He saw that she had 3 or 4 cats going in and out of her sliding glass door. He would pop his head right up to the glass, as if saying Can I come in? The nice lady started feeding him outside at the side of her yard as she needed to keep him separate. However, he didn't like being relegated to the side. He wanted to lie down on the backsteps. She would sit with him outside and to her surprise he let her pet him. That leads to more pets. She then decided to TNR him and see if she could bring him inside. She socialized with him as much as she could at her home, but he struggled when going to the vet and with her other cat. He needed the next level of socialization that she could not provide. Garden City Vet care and Dr Buscemi reached out to us at Feral to Family and we graciously took Orion into one of our fosters Homes. And after such loving appropriate socialization, Orion thrived. He is a sweet, calm boy who loves pets and rubs, and is now available to be a family member here at Catpurrcinos! SPONSORED BY: Jackson Sidle, Allie & Geno Gall, Nicole Pantano, Samar Mahdi
