ORECHIETTE

A note from Recky's foster: - Very playful, active most of the day, loves to play and wrestle with our other kitten - Meows quietly but purrs loudly - Does not like to be picked up or held for very long - Likes to relax/snuggle NEXT TO people but not really a 'lap cat' - Will sometimes snuggle/groom other kitten so should be good with other cats. Also rubs up on and tries to 'make friends' with our older cat so all ages of cats seem okay - Likes interactive (stick) toys, will run and jump to catch - LOVES paper/cardboard - easily entertained with balled up newspaper or packing paper from boxes, loves playing in empty cardboard boxes and empty kleenex boxes! Will also BITE any paper he finds - chews on cardboard boxes and has bitten book covers when we are reading - Likes to climb - climbs up back of couch, climbs up on chairs and walks on table and counter (we are working on correcting this behavior to ensure his placement is a success!) - Likes scratching posts and cardboard scratchers - the first thing he does every time he is let out of his kennel is go scratch the scratching post! - He will try to eat other cats' food once he is finished (should be monitored at feedings) - Will try to eat human food when we are eating on the couch, but does not try to jump up on the table when we're eating
