Orange Julius was on the list for euthanasia with his friend Fuzzno just because they were scared and not social enough to go to the adoption floor. You'd be scared, too, if you were a cat and had to stay in a small, loud metal cage and hear other cats and dogs meowing and barking.
Both cats went to foster for a couple of months and blossomed into sweet companions who are ready for their new homes. OJ can be adopted with or without Fuzzno, but they are a little bonded as you can see in the video. It takes OJ a little while to warm up to new people but it won't take long if you have a container of treats that you shake. He loves the twice-daily routine where he gets cat treats and anytime his foster mom is in the kitchen he's usually there with his tail up, waiting for snackies.
OJ would do best in a quieter home with older children. This will make him most comfortable and it will help ensure he becomes an active part of your family. He has done well with all the cats he's met, and he has accepted the big dog at his foster home.
