Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is optimistic that you'll adopt him! Meet the one and only, Optimus Prime! This sweet senior was heartbreakingly surrendered by his owners due to litter box issues. Unfortunately, we learned that Optimus had an untreated urinary tract infection. With treatment and a urinary diet, Optimus has returned to consistently using the litter box. Optimus may always have some urinary issues that flair up when he's stressed, but with continuing the urinary diet, regular vet care and an observant family to know if he's not feeling well, Optimus is expected to continue his good health. Optimus also has a heart condition, but he requires no medication for it and it shouldn't affect his quality of life at all. Interested adopters would have the opportunity to consult with our veterinarian and review any test results. We would also consider a foster to adopt arrangement for our buddy. Optimus was terrified when he arrived, having lost the home he knew but he's quickly become a volunteer favorite and he has blossomed as everyone has rallied around him with love and attention. Optimus loves to be pet and is such a gentle + loving boy. From what we've seen so far, Optimus seems to get along fine with other polite cats but he can get a little jealous if you are showing affection to other cats - he wants to be your main man, your one and only!
