Ophie is the belle of the ball, a chatty and social creature who demands your attention! Adopted as a kitten, Ophie was recently returned due to some changes at home (a new baby), so her independent yet curiously cuddly spirit is looking for a new place to zoom, wiggle her little bobtail for more brushes, and crash out in the sun.
Ophie has previously lived with another cat and a teenager. She could adjust to a home with a similar population that matches her personality, but would be just as happy soaking up all of your attention as the one and only kitty in an adult-centric, low-stress home. In foster care she has gotten along great with other calm adult cats after a slow introduction.
Ophie came in to PAWS having some diarrhea and vomiting issues. After a lot of trial and error, we have figured out that she is likely allergic to ingredients in some common cat foods. On a prescription diet with a little bit of medicine once a day, Ophie's insides are as happy as her cuddly little outsides, and she might eventually be able to transition off those things. At about 7 years young and otherwise healthy, she still enjoys lots of zoomies and playtime and always wants to be where her people are!
Age: ~7 years old
