Opal and Penelope are two kittens out of six who was rescued from the most horrific situation imaginable! Since it took seven weeks to bring them to a state of good health, we have learned so much about them!
Opal is your typical playful kitten. She does love her humans but she loves her sister and playtime more. She is the kind of kitten who is in constant play mode. Whether she’s playing with the wand toy, chasing Penelope around, pouncing on the dog, or batting the balls around, you will always find her interacting more with her sister.
Penelope is a shy kitten. She will let you hold her and carry her around, however, she will sit off to the side until you come and get her, It’s as if she was like an infant child who is waiting for you to pick her up and love on her. Once you do, she will purr and soak up the love and attention you are giving her! She plays with her sister, but when she isn’t, you will find her in her fluffy bed observing everyone else and watching the world go by!
