As you can see, Opal is a gorgeous kitten! She's fun, spunky, cuddly and has a super loud purr. Her purr motor starts running the moment you touch her and gets louder as you pet and cuddle her. She plays hard and then is ready for a kitten nap, preferably on her foster mom's lap. She loves to chase toy mice and carry her captured prey in her mouth around the house. She loves to play with and re-style her foster mom's hair and then snuggle into her neck. She can be just a little nervous when first approached, but she's relaxing more and more. Her foster home has resident cats and a dog and at first, she was a little leery of them, but now she loves following the dog around and playing with the cats. Opal is doing so great considering she had been suffering from a corneal ulcer from an infection. She was treated and is better except that her left eye has some scarring which can make it look cloudy. It doesn't bother her or slow her down one bit though or prevent her from watching television!
