Opal is a lovely and gentle cat currently living in a stray cat colony. Due to a change in circumstances, her caretaker is no longer able to provide the necessary care for her and her colony mates. We're dedicated to trapping, spaying, vaccinating, and finding loving homes for these wonderful cats, and Opal is one of the first to be ready for adoption. Opal stands out as one of the friendlier cats in the colony. With a bit of patience and time, she will blossom into a fantastic companion. Note from caretaker: I've been taking care of Opal since she was a kitten after her momma took off. It took time, but she came to be very friendly with me, more so even after she had kittens. She's not keen on being picked up either, but otherwise affectionate. She can get carried away when showing affection with the love biting, though she me means well.
