We believe Opal started her life in a home as someone's pet before being abandoned at a young age. She has had both indoor and outdoor life experiences. While initially cautious with new people, Opal's social skills shine through as she warms up to her human companions. She also gets along well with other animals. Opal's journey to our rescue is truly heartwarming. She arrived as a stray with three kittens of her own, and lived in a warm, loving foster home while she nursed and cared for her babies. Once her biological babies were ready to be on their own, she selflessly took on the role of surrogate mother to six orphaned kittens who had tragically lost their own mom. Her nurturing spirit and compassion knows no bounds. Now that Opal has gone above and beyond in her motherly duties, she's ready to find a loving family to call her own.
