If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application. Claw and Opal are courtesy postings for ARWOB. Although not our personal rescue kitties, they were rescued by a fantastic rescue group called Beagle freedom project. They are currently being fostered by an ARWOB foster parent who was able to help these 2 friends. Clawdette and Opal are NOT siblings but they are foster sisters rescued from the same situation. They have been fostered in the San Marcos area (92078 zip code) and at this point its safe to say they are bonded girls. We would LOVE for them to be adopted by a loving human who is looking to adopt 2 friends. The following is a write up from her foster mom who has nothing but amazing things to say about both sweethearts... in her words "absolute love bugs and bonded", Of course boths girls are UTD on medical and spayed, chipped and tested negative for felv/fiv. Both girls are fosterd in a home with a couple so exposed to men/women equally and equally social with them, they also are good witht he resident kitty. We are not sure if they have had exposure to dogs and children. Its likely they would be amazing with children and probably enjyoy having little humans to love on them. We do offere foster to adopt trials if a family can commit to them for 2 weeks to see if they would do well in a home with dogs or children. NOTE: Claw did have stomatitis when she was first rescued and the group was able to provide a dental to remove all teeth but 2 of them, hence her lips look ...well, adorable!! the good news IS adopters don't really have to worry about future dental work up for Claw which is a good incentive for vet care. Claw: Hello new friends, I'm Claw-dette! And I'm the cuddliest kitty you'll ever meet. To me, there is no such thing as a stranger, as I love everyone I meet (human or animal) right away! I would be the perfect family cat, as I am gentle and full of endless amounts of love. I love to nuzzle my head against you, sit on your lap, and hang out together. I've never had toys before, but I think they're fun and am learning how to play for the first time in my life! I like to groom other cats and snuggle with them, so I'd love to go to a home with at least one other kitty sibling. Please take me home-- I promise to give you nuzzles, cuddles, and affection every single day. Until recently, I spent my whole life within a laboratory cage being poked and prodded. I never got to enjoy a chin scratch or the feeling of enjoying sunshine by a window. Now I'm finally free!
