Ookie

A little about Ookie: - Approximately 11 years old, UTD on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV-, spayed - SUCH a gentle sweetheart - Hides at first in her cave cat beds when she hears commotion, until she realizes it’s safe to emerge. At that point, Ookie comes out to introduce herself and beckon for visitors. - Ookie will patiently sit in front of her guest, gently approaching to ask for back scratches - Takes some coaxing, but will be a lap cat for her favorite people! - Finds comfort in the calm - It’s very important for Ookie to be adopted into a quiet, calm household without much hubbub - While she does show interest in some toys, she’s not overly playful - Ookie cares way more about getting all the snuggles - She’ll need regular vet visits through her senior years to make sure she remains healthy and happy, and prevent any tummy issues from reoccurring - Ookie does have a sensitive stomach - particularly during stressful times (like living in a shelter). She’s on a special food to help her system maintain some normalcy during the stress. - Ookie would be a perfect cat to join a fellow senior and live the golden years together!
