She is the shy one from her litter and needs time to warm up She has never been a single kitty and needs to be adopted with at least one other cat or adopted with her brother Ozark or O'Malley. She can be active and playful like a typical young kitty and loves to sit in the cat tree. Oakley is spayed, fdrc and rabies vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, fecal tested, dewormed, and microchipped. As part of our adoption process, vet references are checked on past and current pets and must be kept up to date on core vaccinations and annual exams. Resident cats must also have a negative FeLV test. Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months.
