Oakland 6/8/21
Oakland is an amazingly resilient girl. She’s a long hair beauty and loves to be pet and have her belly rubbed. She does take a moment to get used to new faces and although she doesn’t love to be held and carried around she does love attention. She just tends to choose when she is willing to accept the love.
Oakland was rescued from the Oakland shelter at 7 weeks of age. She was born with deformity’s to all 4 legs. With proper medical care and a ton of love and time to grow she has become a beautiful funny, strong and independent but shy and vulnerable girl. I am amazed every day at the ability for kitty’s like Oakland to survive and thrive in the face of adversity.
Oakland is being treated for arthritis as she does experience some pain in her back legs however it is being treated and she has a full happy life.
