Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. Nyra returned to DunRoamin' on June 7, 2024. She had originally come from Florenceville in May 2021 where she had been a stray who was matted, pregnant, underweight, had parasites and fractured teeth. All these things were addressed and she was fortunate to be adopted in July of 2021. Unfortunately, her adopter's health now precluded her from caring for Nyra, so as per our adoption agreement, she came back to us to find a new home. Nyra was born about November 21, 2019. She is a beautiful tortie who has a wonderful personality. Examination by her vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic revealed that she may require some dental work, but once that is done and her vaccines and FIV/FeLV tests are up to date, she will be anxious to go to a new home. She will be ready by early July and she is looking forward to a family again. She is a beautiful, loving and affectionate little girl who can't wait!
