He’s quite a beautiful cat, with a medium length, silky coat, white with dark gray and black markings. He is a very sweet, but a very, very shy guy. This summer, he tended to hide in the bathroom, between the commode and the tub, where I suppose it was nice and cool for him. He’s OK with other animals, including a calm dog, and he gets along OK with other cats, but he's painfully shy with people. He doesn’t seem to be scared, just very timid. Nick is good natured, but it takes time to earn his trust. It’s taken me three months - now, he’ll allow me to pet him and even seems to enjoy it, with very quiet purring, so quiet you can hardly hear it, but he doesn’t initiate the contact. At least he doesn’t hide from me any more. He’s about a year old, a wonderful cat, but one that will require a good deal of patience and peace. Nick's worth it, every minute of it.
This handsome boy was rescued from the County shelter along with his buddy, Tony. They were turned in to the shelter because their former owner was ill and could no longer care for them. Nick is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is micro chipped. For more information, please contact Lola at 480-391-2640 or
