Meet Nick! He is a grey longhair tabby that is sweet and full of curiosity. He came from a colony in a rough spot along with his four siblings. We are still working on socializing him, but he’s already came such a long way! He loves to play with his littermates, then find a cozy spot to curl up and recharge. He allows us to walk up to him and pet him when he’s laying down, pick him up, and set him on our lap. He’s still learning that he doesn’t need to run away when we walk up to him while he’s up and walking around. It is important that Nick goes into a home that understands as loving as he is, that he can be shy at times. It’s also important that his adopter’s continue to build trust and socialize him. The best ways to win him over is with food, treats, and toys. Nick gets along with other cats, it is unknown at this time how he would do with dogs or kids. He likely would be best in a quite - somewhat quiet home. Something unique that Nick does is put both paws in his water dish when he drinks water no matter if it’s from a normal water dish or a water fountain! He really loves to receive pets on his head and back and will purr like there’s no tomorrow. When he’s happy he swishes the end of his tail around, almost like a dog. Nick will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Nick was born in April.
