Mr. Tiger

Hello, I’m Mr. T. When I was a feral cat at the gas station, I was known as Mr. Tiger. I was rescued, NEW-tered (must be a Gen Z term), and now I go by Mr. T. (I have also been called BigBoy and Bubba - don’t ask, I don’t know why.) No longer scrounging for food,I enjoy the finer things in life now: bird watching, head scratchies, wet food, and vibrant conversations. I like timely meals (don’t worry, I’ll remind you) and bedtime scratchies. I love pouncing on kitty toys or hiding behind things and jumping out. I like other cats, too. It reminds me of my kitten-hood. Dogs are just weird, though. They move quickly, sniff my face and my (ahem) backside. I’d rather not be around dogs - in fact, I’d hide all the time to be safe. I also have a few boundaries: I will not “sit in a lap” or be picked up. Maybe for a quick two-second cuddle, but that’s it. Now, don’t let this fool you - I absolutely LOVE being next to humans, being pet, being scratched, maybe getting some tummy rubs, and I may walk across you while we’re talking. But, picking and sitting - no go. Call it an eccentricity. We all have something, right? I mean, I could hiss, or bite, or be grumpy, but I won’t. So, if you’re looking for a solid furry chunk of love - I’m your cat. I’m shy in this space, but trust me, once I’m home, I’m all of the above. Just look into my eyes - would I lie to you?
