Named for her stunning two-toned face, and calico tortoise print fur, Moonlight joined TCR with her sister-parent and seven kittens between them. Moonlight has been residing in a foster home with three of the kittens that she lovingly cares for as if they were all her own. Moonlight is very affectionate once she warms up to you and develops trust. She will do best with an adopter who is patient and willing to admire her beauty from afar at first. Upon feeling safe and loved, she will trill and give butt raises to encourage more loving - and pets! She will also let you know when she would like to be left alone or has had enough pets. Moonlight is highly food motivated; wet food and treats are a great way to bond. Moonlight enjoys finding a nice high spot to lounge and view her surroundings. She loves to watch birds out the window. She will play with cat toys mostly during late night play sessions. We think that she could do well with another cat friend, with proper introductions, or could even be adopted as the solo kitty. She'd likely do just fine with calmer, cat-savvy kiddos. Moonlight is approximately one year old and has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
