MOCHI # 9709 Mâle, Adulte, Stérilisé, Vermifugé, Vacciné & Micropucé MOCHI est un superbe gaillard d'environ 3 à 4 ans d'âge, au beau pelage tabby bringé et il est en excellente santé. Avec ses magnifiques yeux verts au regard intense rempli d'intelligence, MOCHI dégage un charme fou. Après avoir passé quelques mois avec nous au refuge, son aimable nature s'est enfin manifestée et il est maintenant prêt à trouver un bon foyer pour la vie. MOCHI était errant et nourri à l'extérieur et il nous a été confié au refuge au début de novembre 2023 après avoir été trappé. Ainsi, nous ne connaissons rien de son passé. A son arrivée, le pauvre garçon était complètement terrorisé car la vie au refuge fût un très grand bouleversement pour lui. Lentement MOCHI a commencé à faire un peu plus confiance aux gens qu'il côtoyait et nous avons pu le flatter une première fois en février. Depuis ce temps, monsieur a fait énormément de progrès au point qu'aujourd'hui, nous le considérons comme un félin très affectueux. On a affaire à un merveilleux minet tendre, loyal et sensible qui apprécie les douces caresses et se faire gratter le menton. Ce petit prince aime se frotter sur vos jambes, se coucher près de vous ou sur vos genoux mais il est toutefois encore trop craintif pour le prendre dans nos bras. Chat discret et plutôt calme mais qui demeure curieux et agile, MOCHI adore regarder par la fenêtre, se prélasser et faire la sieste sur un coussin douillet à l'écart de ses co-locataires. Offrez-lui des savoureuses gâteries pour établir le contact avec lui et créer graduellement un lien de confiance...comme il est plutôt gourmand, il vous suivra partout :) Nous recherchons des adoptants calmes, chaleureux et patients qui sont habitués avec les chats un peu timides et qui prendront tout le temps nécessaire pour compléter sa socialisation et rassurer le gentil MOCHI en lui donnant beaucoup d'amour. Ce brave rescapé peut cohabiter avec d'autres chats sociables mais préférablement serait le seul chat de la maisonnée. Nous recommandons un foyer sans chien et sans jeunes enfants car les bruits forts, mouvements brusques et trop d'activités autour de lui l'effraient; ce stress nuirait grandement à son épanouissement et son bien-être. Vu son tempérament nerveux, il faut prévoir une période d'intégration dans son nouveau domicile afin qu'il puisse s'adapter à sa nouvelle famille. Le formidable MOCHI est passé d'une difficile vie d'errance à dormir au chaud en recherchant les caresses et l'affection des humains. MOCHI #9709 Male, Adult, Sterilized, Dewormed, Vaccinated & Microchipped MOCHI is a handsome, strapping 3 to 4 year old cat with a nice tabby coat who is in excellent health. With his beautiful green eyes brimming with intelligence and intensity, MOCHI exudes so much charisma. After spending a few months with us at the shelter, his lovable nature manifested itself and he is now ready to find a good forever home. MOCHI was a stray being fed outdoors and after getting caught in a trap, he was brought to the shelter early November 2023. Therefore, we know nothing about his past. At his arrival, the poor boy was completely traumatized as life at the shelter was a major upheaval for him. MOCHI slowly started to trust the people with whom he entered into contact and we were able to pet him for the first time in February. Since then, our handsome fellow has made enormous progress. We now consider him to be a very affectionate feline. We are dealing with a wonderfully tender, loyal and sensitive kitty who appreciates gentle caresses and chin scratches. The furry prince likes to brush against your legs, lay next to you or on your lap but he is still too shy to be held in your arms. MOCHI is discreet et calm but is still curious and agile so he adores looking out the window and relaxing and taking naps on a comfy cushion far from his roommates. Offer him savoury cat treats to establish contact and gradually create a trusting relationship and he will follow you around to get more :) We are looking for calm, caring and patient adopters who have experience with shyer cats and who will give MOCHI all the time needed to reassure & socialize him while lavishing this little wonder with lots of love. The brave fellow can live with other sociable cats but preferably would be the only cat in the household. We also recommend a home without dogs or young children, as loud noises, abrupt movements and too much activity would scare him and be detrimental to his happiness & wellbeing. Please plan for an for an integration period in his new home as he is still somewhat nervous, so he can adapt to his new family and his new surroundings. The amazing MOCHI went from surviving as a stray to sleeping comfortably indoors and seeking caresses and affection from humans.
