Mitzi obviously was abandoned as she is extraordinarily tame. She took up residence on the property where she was trapped. She circled this home on an hourly basis for about a year looking for the little bits of food afforded her at 5 o'clock sharp which she had to gobble down competing with 2 other strays, Fitzpatrick and Floyd.
Her foster has kept her for the past 2 years thinking she was too old to be adopted but has since seen many geriatric cats get homes. So in light of the fact that Mitzi cannot cope in a multi cat household, having spent these years under a bed or in a closet, her foster has decided, much to her chagrin, that she must part with her for Mitzi's sake.
Mitzi, as you can see from her various poses, is strictly a lap cat. She wants a QUIET home with no other cats…..(except for Fitzpatrick of course who is also a mega lap cat)…or dogs…or children. She is a beautiful girl in excellent shape with a well turned ankle for a woman her age (9 years???? as of Dec 2006).
