THANKS TO THE STONE FAMILY OF CHARLESTON, WV FOR GIVING MITTENS A LOVING, FOREVER HOME. Mittens is a very special kitten; have you ever heard of the Hemingway cats? Our little Mittens is a “mitten kitten,” which means he has 6 toes on his paws. What is even more rare is that he has extra toes on all four paws!! Just look at those huge paws—isn’t he adorable? Mittens is light cream in color with faint Tiger stripes. He is estimated at 7 weeks of age (10/25/09). Mittens was found crying in the woods next to the shelter by one of the shelter staff. After a couple of days of patiently trying to catch this little guy, he is now safe-n-sound in our care. Undoubtedly this precious little kitten had been dropped off by an owner who had no idea what a special little guy he is. He is very sweet and more of a laid-back kind of kitten but he loves to be petted. Are you that special human who can give this extraordinary kitty a loving, forever home? He is litter box trained and will be neutered, vaccinated, dewormed prior to leaving the shelter. His adoption fee is $25 to pay for his neuter, vaccinations, dewormings.
