My Story

Mina and Wednesday are a pair of sweet kitties who have just lost their home due to a move. Mina is 12 years old and Wednesday is 8. Wednesday has spent her entire 8 years of life in the company of Mina. They cuddle and love each other -- the cutest thing! Mina loves cuddles and attention and is a very chill cat. She's not a huge fan of being picked up, but she will sit next to you and demand pets, then drown you in her drool while she enjoys every moment of it! Mina does have some arthritis in her hips that limit her upward travel, but she otherwise gets around great. Losing weight would do wonders for her! Wednesday loves dogs and her best friend, Mina! They would love to go to their forever home together and will do great in any home, with children, or other cats. Wednesday would especially appreciate a dog in her life! Are you interested in these two kitties? Follow the instructions below! ----------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
