My Story

This little lady is beautiful in black, except for a white locket around her neck and a tiny patch of white on her belly. Although she's a senior citizen, please don't tell her that. She acts and looks like a girl in her prime. To see her is to want to pet that plush fur, and once you start it's hard to stop.

Midnight Lady likes kids and laps, even other cats, and has many stories about her life that she would like to share with you. Best of all, owning her is just like having a miniature panther in your house. Walk on the wild side and visit our mysterious Midnight Lady.

Midnight Lady is eligible as part of our Mature Companions Program.

Our Mature Companions program is designed to strengthen and promote the human-animal bond for senior humans and senior felines.

Cats 8 years and older can have a fairly difficult time of getting adopted when competing with younger cats and kittens. Additionally, senior cats often experience depression when they enter the shelter. Being adopted by a senior human (55 years and older) who understands their calm nature and need for companionship is a perfect match for these senior cats.

Program Benefits

  • Reduced Adoption Fee of $40
  • Free Office Visits at the CAT Hospital
  • Free Annual Comprehensive Health Exam
  • $100 off dental cleaning
  • 10% off Preventive Care
  • 10% off any other veterinary services
  • Lifetime return guarantee to the shelter if the health of the senior should need to give up the cat
  • Follow-up visits at the senior’s residence by the adoption counselor or other CAT volunteer
  • Access to Adoption Counselors for any questions or concerns
