Fourth of July may be over, but you can celebrate independence day with this little firecracker, Meowca! Meowca is a 10 week old kitten who loves cat tunnels, exploring, and chin scratches! She is an expurrt in catnip mice and is quick to show off her pouncing skills. She especially enjoys cat friends, and would be delighted to have another feline friends to zoom and play with! Meowca is shy at first, but is quick to warm up and she can be easily won over with a can of wet food and cheek scratches. She think its would be pawsome to go hone with her sister, Meowriel! If Meowca could be the one for you, she hopes you will fill out an application today! ___________________________ Spay & Neuter Disclosure: To facilitate adoptions and open more foster space, this kitten is being adopted with a spay-neuter adoption agreement. An appointment for services has been scheduled and the adopter will be responsible for transportation and post-surgical care. Appointment information will be provided during the application process and the spay/neuter cost is inclusive of the adoption fee. The adopter is responsible for providing an e-collar and monitoring the incision site for infection. Any post-surgical complications are the responsibility of the adopter and should be treated by the adopter's vet. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
