We picked up Mel all the way in Groveton after residents thought they'd seen him be abandoned from a car in a parking lot. Turns out he did have a microchip, but there was no response after the microchip company sent an alert to the registered owner. So, Mel is now looking for a new home!
Mel is around 6.5 years old. He doesn't seem to like nosy kittens that want to invade his space, but he could probably tolerate another cat that's happy minding its own business. Not sure how he likes dogs.
Mel is a very friendly, personable guy. He's not shy at all, is very chatty, and is always happy to make a new friend. We do want to be upfront that it may be difficult or impossible to keep Mel indoor-only. He wants to dart out every door, and he's always at the windows looking for a way through. He'd love a catio! If you're looking for a confident companion to accompany you outdoors during gardening or other outdoor activities, Mel's your guy! ?

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas before adoption.
