MAX (DOB 4/1/12) is a confident, friendly gent that enjoys getting pet (especially under the chin), soaking up the sunshine (especially on the stairs), and being brushed (anywhere, anytime). He also enjoys lap time with his foster dad. MAX’s favorite toys are simple strings, clotheslines, and shoelaces – it really doesn’t take much to make this guy happy. He is calm and quiet until he gets an inkling that foster mom is heading upstairs where his Party Mix treats are kept. Then, he runs up the stairs and chirps & trots down the hall to his room waiting to be served a tasty morsel.
MAX currently lives in a foster home with a female cat. They tolerate each other, so it appears he would prefer to live in a one-cat household. A cat-savvy dog or older children would be good company for him. Due to his age, MAX has kidney function issues that require a kidney-support diet and hydration every two days.
