Marley is a rich dark brown tabby, about 10 years old. He came into our shelter as a stray with a badly broken rear leg. The wound was old and the bone was splintered from a gunshot. We made the decision to amputate his leg. He has been a dear through it all and never stops looking for affection. He is due to get his staples out next week and will be available for adoption. He is doing quite well on three legs and would make a lovely companion as in indoor cat only. Although not visible, his jaw was broken at one time and was already healed when we got him. However, his teeth don't line up. He obviously has had a rough life and deserves a comfy home to spend his remaining years. He is gentle and gets along well with other cats, but he does not care to have dogs around. (03/29/08)
