MARGUERITE – SENIOR Hello. I am Marguerite, a brown mackerel tabby. I am approximately six years old—which makes me an ideal candidate for the Senior to Senior program. I am very affectionate and confident. I am not one of those cats who will hide behind the washing machine when you bring me home for the first time. Most likely, I will sit on your couch immediately and talk to you as if I’ve lived there forever. In fact, I went on a weekend home visit with a senior citizen, and we had the best time just napping, chatting politely, and visiting all day. I even slept on her bed to keep her warm on the first night. I was very polite and well behaved, and I provided the best companionship! If you are considering me, I would be terrific one-on-one, as I love to give and get affection and attention. However, I do live with six other SMAWL cats, and I get along just fine with them.
