Luna

Luna is a bundle of joy and energy! She follows me everywhere now and loves to give a morning kiss. She was not at all like that when I first brought her home on 11/30. She was jumpy and defensive. She would only let us stroke her on her head and neck. She would get over stimulated and lash out if we pet her too long. She wouldn't venture upstairs into our bedrooms. Now, she's a different cat. She follows me everywhere and now sleeps on the bottom of my bed. She comes when we call her. She does tricks and sits for treats. She shows no interest in going outside - as if she remembers being cold, hungry and alone. She doesn't like to be picked up and carried, but she greets us at the door every evening, and loves the scratches and rubs she gets from us. She is independent and a bit aloof, and still a bit jumpy. But she is still learning how to be a pet. She would do well with cats or an accommodating dog in your household. She suckles and "make biscuits" on her favorite blankie. Sometimes she wants us to "do zoomies" with her so we pretend to chase her around the house. She would do much better with a more mature cat or dog that she can play with throughout the day. I think she is still too nervous and immature to be around little children just yet.
