Lucy and Ethel and Oskar!!

Meet Ethel, Lucy & Oskar! Ethel and Lucy (calicos) are sisters and Oskar (black & white) is the girls' very best friend. The girls are about 1.5 years old (as of 5/24) and Oskar is about 2 years old (as of 5/24). The trio would be best in a household without dogs or young children and with an experienced cat parent. *PLEASE NOTE* there are TWO options for adoption: 1. All three cats are adopted together, or 2. The calicos are adopted together. Oskar will not be adopted alone and it is preferred that a single sister not be left behind. OSKAR is the leader of the pack, he has a bold, playful, curious, and mischievous personality. He LOVES to play with his toys (a wand with a bell attachment drives him crazy) and with his adoptive sisters. He a great big brother and snuggles and grooms them constantly. Oskar can be held by his human breifly but prefers to do his snuggling on the bed while they're sleeping. ETHEL is the more outgoing sister. She is very friendly, sweet, active, and playful. Her favorite pastime is playing fetch with her taco toy and she very much enjoys the occasional belly rub. She is Oskar's partner in crime. Ethel prefers not to be held but she loves being pet and will always be at the foot of her human's bed. LUCY is the runt of the trio. Originally very shy, she has made great leaps and bounds in gaining confidence over the past few months. Lucy is slightly aloof and usually keeps her distance, but she can't deny the satisfaction of an occasional petting session - she purrs loudly to give thanks for the scritches! In some cases, Lucy is even the first to run into the room for attention. Lucy is also not a cuddle cat and can still be a bit skittish – but that just adds to her endearing personality. She can also be found at your feet at bedtime. Lucy’s favorite toys to play with are plastic utensils – spoons are her favorite. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit, a brief video (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full.
