Lucy is one of our long term residents here at the Farmhouse and was trapped along with her 6 kittens in July of 2021. Lucy is now 4 years old. Even after her kittens were weaned we could still not “handle” Lucy. It took a lot of patient work by our volunteers, and she will now allow brief pets. But she still has a long way to go in learning to trust people and needs the safe, secure environment of a home, along with her buddy, Cali (also profiled here on Petfinder). She loves lounging in the sun and mealtime is her favorite time! But playtime is where she shines, often doing flips in the air with a wand toy. She is a very quiet cat. And she and her best friend Cali will often lounge together, side by side, in the sun on the floor just loving life. Lucy will so be worth the added effort to bring her to the point of being affectionate and one day craving your pets.
