My Story

Lucy is a small sophisticated, stunningly beautiful cat with enormous intellect and has the propensity to understand her human very well. She's so unique mentally, with an incredible capacity to learn. Sensitive, alert, watchful, innocent and pure hearted, with an extreme love of games and play. We believe she may even be able to use the 'talk buttons' that dogs are learning to communicate with. We trapped Lucy in a desolate industrial section of DTLA with her tiny white kitten 'Marly" and larger older kitten 'Niko. They all spent many months recuperating and for Lucy it was a process to trust her newfound circumstances. She had survived by her incredible wits, having been impregnated on the streets at 5 months old, causing her to be kamikaze aggressive towards large cats. Lucy has been with Niko and Marly her entire time with us, but is eager to have her own life with a special human(s) and be free of any other pets. Lucy is very well suited to be an "only' cat with doting humans she can engage and learn from. She cannot join a multi pet household. She is incredibly fine tuned. She allows very light petting and gives a tiny kiss of appreciation after an exuberant rewarding play session. She is non destructive and won't hover around a computer or keyboard once you explain what it is and to please leave it alone. She as yet, hasn't had full contact with most household items, but she is a respectful cat and listens when spoken to. She likes explanations. She is remarkable in so many ways, polite, focused, precise, yet very tender hearted. We can’t stress enough how unusual and special Lucy could be in someone's life. Lucy
