LUCKY JONES's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is SIDEKICK (Orange)
Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
Interesting Stuff About LUCKY JONES:
This big, beautiful guy has had a lot of luck over his lifetime, but it hasn't been too lucky for awhile! Lucky was first adopted from CAT in March 2006. He was returned in July 2006, however, because he was "being bullied by the other cat in the house." He was adopted again that same month but returned in less than 30 days when it became clear that he was not happy in his new home. This could have been because of the stress he went through in his previous household and trying to adjust to a new household so soon. His second family thought he was a "wonderful cat, wonderful with children" as well as being a "very quiet and good cat". The third time Lucky Jones was adopted, the staff was ecstatic. We hoped this would be his forever home; however, it was not meant to be. After living with loving caring owners for over two years, the family expanded with a baby. Much to the chagrin of all, Lucky Jones became extremely stressed with this new family addition. The tough decision was made to return Lucky Jones so that he could find another home that would be less stressful for him. Parting words were that he was "a very great pet and very social... does a wonderful flop and roll."
As you can see, Lucky has been bounced around from place to place. He's feeling a bit out of sorts and who can blame him! We believe that he just needs an experienced cat person who will provide a calm home and the patience for him to adjust. A quiet, adults only home with no other pets might just be what this guy needs to become a happy, well adjusted feline. Spend a few minutes with him and you will notice the look in his eyes that says he's just being misunderstood and he longs for a home where he can love and be loved. He's waiting for that special someone -- we know you're out there!
