My Story

Meet Lucki! Lucki (about 7 years old) has been through some really tough times - and it's time she find her forever family. Dumped on the streets, luckily a good samaritan found her and called us. She has since been spayed & had a few other medical procedures done including some dental work, and now is healthy as she's ever been. She loves to curl up on your pillow and watch you sleep. She is talkative and expressive. She will be your BFF for life. She has some boundaries (like most cats do) and it's important to respect her space, which is why we do not believe she'd do well around young children. She likes to be your center of attention, so we recommend she's the only cat of the household. She is a lynx point siamese. Lucki is a big personality - she is extremely confident and seems to have zero fear of anything! Currently in foster care in Fountain Valley, CA. We can transport to approved adopter in LA county and some parts of OC. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. To begin the application process, please fill out our application here: https://form.jotform.com/212117959297062 We will try our best to be in touch within 24-48 hours. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats in our other spare time. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. We currently TNR roughly 24 cats/month. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments. Please send us an email at [email protected] to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!
