Courtesy Post Lucas: Tropical Roots, playful demeanor Hi! I am Lucas. I was living my first 7 months in a colony with other kitties in St. Martin. I was a friendly guy, so a rescue scooped me up and sent me to the States. Here I met my BFF human, and her not so BFF 4 legged kids. I don't get why no one wants to play with me! I love to pounce and have fun! I am the Walmart Greeter to humans that walk in the door, and new dogs that come in the house to say hi! I am not fearful of any 2 or 4 legged critter! I am high energy, and love to play with my human's 10 and 12 year old visitors, and when I am finally tired, I am a love bug. I am a blanket sucker and love a couple hours of cuddle time. I love to be petted, loved, and lay up against my human, but no picky uppies, please. I am super smart and love my puzzle toys, and anything I have to figure out. I do have to admit, I hate to be held, and cry like I am dying. I am not aggressive, but when my owner tried to clip my nails, I cry, growl, and put of a stink, but do not use my teeth and bite. But would prefer not to be picked up. But please play with me all day long! My dog I live with has a high prey drive and scares me, but other doggies are great! The cats here don't care for my super energetic nature. I would be great in a home with kids that would play with me all day long, or with a cat savvy dog I can hang and play with, or another high energy kitty I can keep up with. Maybe someone who is an adventurer and loves to travel and needs a 4 legged co-pilot, I am your kitty! This is a direct adoption through a private owner.
