My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I can go home today! I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. I am looking for a home with a patient person. I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles! I have been known to shower my favorite people in love! Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I am playful and cute! Luca interacts with the observer, appreciates attention and allows all petting, but did not appear to like being picked up during their behavior evaluation. He struggled to get down when pick up was attempted. Please keep in mind there are many reasons why a cat may be uncomfortable with this type of handling and that this may not necessarily translate into a home environment. We recommend that he go to a home with adopters with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in not being comfortable with pickup. Any future home with children should be counseled in respecting the cat's space and for the family to use care when picking him up, especially while they're adjusting to their new home.
