These darlings were among over twenty cats that were saved in Pauma Valley. Someone had abandoned them (possibly left to drown) in two large, rusty kennels next to a creek during heavy rainfall. Thankfully, a local woman spotted them during her walk and rescued them in the nick of time! In foster care, these youngsters thrived as they learned how to be awesome house kitties. Not letting anything stand in their way, our lads are ready to leap into their forever homes!
---Pauly D is a big flirt and a master of the "How you doin?" smolder. With his dashing silver coat and those gorgeous eyes, he can melt your heart with a single look. He has a bashful charm and can be timid around loud noises and strangers. He'll swipe left/no to boisterous parties and commotion. He much prefers a quiet evening on the couch with you. Pets and cuddles are definitely Pauly D's style! Brimming with happiness, our Romeo will fill the house with his booming purrs.
---Lover Boy is one dapper fellow! A black and white tux and sweet mustache--he's always dressed to impress. According to Lover Boy, he doesn't mind being petted. He just asks you don't grab him or hold him. Reserved, he is quite cautious of dogs and new people. Think of Lover Boy more as a thoughtful philosopher than an adventurous explorer. He values patience and time to build trust with his special humans. No need for lots of space or extravagant furniture. He'd be content in an apartment as long as he has his own "kitty cave" to retreat to for meditation. Oh, and a window where he can study the birds would be perfect for Lover Boy!
--- Lonestar is a handsome panther with tons of personality! Being the brave one, he was a big brother to the smaller kittens. This confident guy is comfortable making friends, kids included! Lonestar accepts all the pets and snuggles you have to offer. He especially likes scritches right under his chin. Feeling ooey-gooey, he'll give you little kisses to express how much he adores you! His courage continues on the playground. An avid hunter, no toy is safe with Lonestar on the prowl! Carrying his "trophies" in his mouth, he'll proudly parade around the room. So adorable!
All three boys get along with other felines. Pauly D would love to be adopted with his gal pal, Piggy Sue (#18915). They have varied opinions when it comes to dogs. Pauly D didn't seem to mind the resident dogs but would hide when things got too hectic. He'd likely adjust well to mellow pooches. No dogs for Lover Boy please. Lonestar does great with canines. Appreciating a calm environment, Pauly D and Lover Boy prefer older kids who will respect their boundaries and not pick them up. Lonestar loves to be held and has lots of energy for a young child to play games of mouse throw! He'd be fine with children of all ages.
Without a doubt, Pauly D, Lover Boy, and Lonestar are a triple dose of cuteness! Won't you give one or more of these awesome dudes a permanent place to call home?
