Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
Interesting Stuff About LOUIS:
The term "Big is Beautiful" speaks volumes about LOUIS's look. Of course, he may prefer to be referred to as handsome. Regardless of the phrase, this big boy is gorgeous. He has stunning green eyes that appear to be two shades of green. A lighter green on the outer rim and deep lime green near the iris. He has a bright pink nose that is magnified by the white fur around his nose and mouth. There are brown/black 'tabby' stripes that drape down his sides and a dark stripe that runs down the middle of his back. All four of his paws are a bright white. At 17 pounds he is certainly one very good looking 'big' boy.
Louis was found five years ago by a good Samaritan who took him in after he had been abandoned. Unfortunately, life takes its turns and now Louis's owner has to "move to San Diego to take care of mother. She is allergic to cats." We were told that Louis "Does not require a lot of attention. He enjoys sitting on your lap for short periods of time." (Long periods of time could prove to be quite a challenge!)
Although Louis is bigger than average, this does not translate into bravery. He is really quite shy and timid in new situations. He will look to a human for comfort and security. This may explain why his best friend and "security blanket" is a stuffed moose. His moose friend helps him to feel safe and gives him comfort
. Once relaxed, Louis will explore his surroundings, coming back frequently to rub against your legs. This little ritual will go on for several minutes. Each time he circles back to you he will rub against your legs and, at times, hop in the process. Just because he's big doesn't mean that he isn't athletic!
