Louie

Meet Louie, a volunteer favorite! Louie has won over the hearts of many staff members and volunteers here because he is just so cute and has personality for days! He is one of the only cats we know of who enjoys belly rubs. He will actually roll over for them! Louie is very treat-motivated (as one can see by his size). You can tell by the way Louie looks at you that he's engaged and recognizes you as one of his people. He's a social cat, but he does sometimes want to be given space. He would do best in a home with adults or children over the age of 12 who can respect his need for independence. Louie does fine with cats (we have some who absolutely ADORE him), but he can reach a point where he becomes overstimulated, especially around kittens. We think going to a home with no other pets or only 1-2 adult cats would help him thrive.
