My Story

London is a special cat! He likes to splay out, squeaks when he’s excited, likes to nibble your fingers, will groom you, and when you bring out his carrier, he just hops right in. He doesn’t mind car rides and is happy to sit on your lap and look outside, or fall asleep. He loves people and is not scared of strangers. London just always wants to be near you, so be careful when you wake up or walk out of the shower because you might step on him. He also loves to sleep near our heads whenever possible. London is just a fat cat. He has been cleared by our vet for any diseases like diabetes or thyroid issues. However, he is round because as a kitten, he suffered from an intestinal obstruction that made his belly grow big while the rest of him stayed little. Thankfully the obstruction cleared and he has regular poops, but as a result, his belly is big while the rest of him is a little stumpy. His future adopters just need to be aware that he has a sensitive stomach. Sudden dietary changes shouldn’t be made and he should never get specialty cat foods found in the refrigerated section. These foods have too much fat and calories in them and is not good for him. He is just fine with regular cat kibble and wet food. In fact, he LOVES his kibble more than wet food and we can pass on what works best for him. He will literally eat everything so free feeding him is not the best idea (we use a timed feeder). London is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and FELV/FIV negative. He uses his litter box just fine too. He would do fine as a solo cat as long as you are regularly home (he loves company so much, he shouldn’t go to a home where the person is gone for long periods of time). He should also be fine in a home with another cat, although we highly recommend adopting him with Bandit, whom he is basically bonded with (tabby cat pictured with him). Apply today to meet this squeaky fat cat!
