A “sweet, sweet girl”: that’s Lola, a short-haired calico girl. Her foster-guardian can’t say enough about this young lady. It took a little while for Lola to show her true nature; in fact, when she was first held, she responded by growling, in a small, kittenish way. Now, she purrs when picked up. Yes, she’s starting to show that typical calico devotion to people, following them around and always wanting to be near them. An owner-surrender, we don’t know how much attention she received in her previous home, as she didn’t even know how to play at first. But Lola is a quick study! As for other cats, she is friendly with all those in her foster-home. Apparently, her own kind find her a sweet, sweet girl, too! Lola's foster family has very much enjoyed getting to know their young guest.
