Loki

Loki was one of five babies born to Emori on the above date. His mom and siblings have all gone on to be adopted. Emori was rescued in early September 2023 when she was half way through this pregnancy and while still caring for her spring litter of three. She came to us with a severe rear leg injury which could only be fixed by amputation. She recovered beautifully. Loki is well named - after the Norse god of mischief - only in a very fun way. Like his namesake, he has a charming side too: "Aren't I just adorable?" Loki’s personality hasn’t changed much in the last few months. He’s still a fun, energetic kitten. Before his siblings were adopted, it was sometimes hard to tell them apart, since four out of the five were all black, but Loki quickly developed his own personality. He loves to be where anything is going on. And for this inquisitive little guy, there is always something going on. Maybe it’s in the next room, or down the hall; he’s always ready for fun. His favourite toys are crinkle balls, and fuzzy balls that he carries about with him. Loki is very social with people, trusting and sweet-tempered says his foster-guardian, “Everyone loves Loki.” He also gets along with other cats, especially cats close to his own age: adopting a pair of youngsters together is a great way to keep them happy and active while their humans are away.
