Loki

We're hoping the third time's the charm for Loki! This poor, sweet boy was recently returned to us... again. He was surrendered to HHS by his first adopters instead of being provided proper veterinary care for a fractured leg. Once he recovered from his surgery, he happily found a new home and we had been receiving updates of him cuddling and playing with his new kitty friend. We were thrilled that he found his second chance. Unfortunately, 8 months later, we received the heartbreaking news that they needed to return him due to unforeseen circumstances. While we're grateful that they reached out to us so Loki could be returned to us safely, we can't help but feel sad that, for the second time, he's lost his home. He was upset and sad to be uprooted again, but he's settled back in with his foster family and getting the TLC he needs. He has gained a good amount of weight these past 8 months, so his fosters have him on a healthy diet of wet cat food and getting him to move through play. He's already doing great and on his way to a much healthier weight. Loki deserves better. He deserves a forever home with a family who will fully commit to him so he doesn't experience heartbreak again. He's a very sweet, chill, and lovable snuggle buddy. He's a big boy but is still a kitten at heart and has the cutest little meow. He does well in a home with non-alpha cats and would also do well as a single cat.
