We don't have to tell you that Lisa Lisa is gorgeous, but she is also a fighter, and a wonderful mom! We suspect she was dumped by previous owners in a local residential area, maybe she was pregnant or with kittens when she was dumped or maybe she was impregnated while trying to survive as an outdoor kitty, we don't know. What we do know is that Lisa Lisa and her kittens were sick, dehydrated and hungry during a summer heatwave, and a desperate Lisa Lisa brought her kittens to a home asking for help. The caring neighbor took them in, and as soon as she knew her babies were safe, she collapsed from exhaustion. ARC responded and got them into a foster home where they were able to regain their health. Now, Lisa Lisa and her babies are healthy, happy and ready to find their forever homes! As you can imagine, Lisa Lisa takes some time to trust new people, but she has quite the personality once you earn her trust! Her foster parents report that she is very affectionate with the people she knows and trusts, even insists on giving kisses! Lisa Lisa is good with other cats, as long as she has her own space to decompress. She needs a slow introductions to new kitties and people. Her ideal forever home would be with a family that is respectful of her space. She does okay with other cats, but she prefers her feline buddies to be laid back and to give her her space. Currently, she is residing with our retirement crew, this older group is very laid back, they tend to sleep quite a bit and they all do wonderful together!
