My Story

Linus is a very handsome 4 year old boy. He is sweet and friendly and will approach just about anyone who enters the room to be pet. He is still learning about life as an indoor cat and all that has to offer. He does not yet understand the concept of play. He is afraid of any wand toy that has been offered to him and I have not yet observed him playing independently with any of the toys available to him. He does like catnip and might play with toys that have catnip in them. Linus has not been exposed to children in his foster home, but he might do alright with respectful, older children. Linus enjoys treats of all kinds but really likes squeeze up treats, such as Churos. Catnip is also a favourite treat. He enjoys both hard and soft food and has a healthy appetite. Grooming this boy will be important in his new home as he has medium length hair that will get matted. Luckily he enjoys being brushed and should be brushed daily. He has not been bathed or had his nails clipped in his foster home. Linus will seek out affection from people, even those he does not know. He will usually come to greet you when you enter the room. He is a quiet boy. Linus would prefer to be the centre of attention and not have to share the spotlight with other cats. Although not a lap cat now, I think he could become one over time. He can be picked up and held for short periods of time but is not currently a cuddler. He has lots of love to give to the right family. While outside, his right ear was injured, probably in a fight. It would start to heal and then he would scratch it open again. Almost as soon as he came into foster care he was placed in a donut to allow the ear to fully heal. It is now very good and he is being monitored to ensure he doesn’t scratch it open again. The ear is scarred and seems a little tender, but I expect the tenderness will pass. Neutered, first shots, dewormed, deflead, microchipped Adoption fee $250
