Linny is another of the luckiest kitties in the world, after being hit by a car on the dirt road he was named after, he managed to pull himself out of the ditch and attract the attention of the good Samaritan who brought him to us. We were unable to save both front legs, one was beyond repair and required amputation, and the second, thru the wonderful work of our top-notch orthopedic surgeon, was able to salvage it with 3 screws. It's taken a bit of time, but he doesn't know he's special, he runs around and lives his life just as all the others, but minus the pain that he suffered before his rescue and expensive orthopedic intervention.
He is extremely starved for attention and is the ultimate lap cat, a very special guy for a very lucky forever family who will lavishes him with love and the special home he deserves. He's approaching his three -year birthday and hoping someone will snatch him perhaps with Wiggly (Lyra) up so they can live out the rest of their days together. Could that family be you?
We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 - 12 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.
The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.
