Lincoln

Lincoln and his 4 littermates were born March 15th, discovered inside the engine and wheel well of a car where the babies’ mother placed them for “safekeeping.” Luckily, they were found before tragedy struck. The group was named the Grand Prix litter, and each of the kittens was given an automobile name. Lincoln (or Linkie, as he is often called) was very scared when first rescued, but he has warmed up so much over the last 13 weeks in foster care. Now 18 weeks/4.5 months old, he is long and lean (a typical teen kitten), and his adorable, funny face and big projectile ears give him such a cute Sphynx cat look. He currently weighs about 4.5 pounds. Lincoln is playful and enjoys being talked to and petted when he is drowsy. He also likes watching cat games on the computer monitor and brief stints on his foster family's screened-in porch (he tends to get scared and run back in if he hears loud noises). He will also sleep on his foster mother’s bed, though not right up against her just yet. He loves all his kitty friends, young and old alike, and is an equal opportunity napper/cuddler with them. Lincoln has not been exposed to young children or dogs and therefore would probably do best in a home with older children. He definitely needs at least one playful, appropriately aged feline companion. Lincoln was neutered and microchipped and received his final vaccines on July 19. He has been flea treated and fully dewormed. He has received his initial FVRCP vaccines and is FIV/FeLV negative. This little guy is precious and will continue to blossom with love from his forever person(s)!
