Limp Biskit

Limp Biskit was found by Marysville Police back in July. He was limping, dragging his entire hindquarters, and his tail was severely injured. Thankfully, he was found just in time, and we had a veterinarian available at that moment, so we rushed him to our medical clinic as soon as we were notified. His tail had a degloving injury, which is when the skin is pulled off the underlying tissue. It's incredibly painful. We knew there was no fixing it, so he had surgery right away. We had to amputate the tail, and then address his other needs. X-rays revealed Limp Biskit also had a broken pelvis and two broken legs. We had no idea what happened, but we were so glad he was a fighter! We can only imagine what he went through before being found! His body had already begun to heal so surgery was not ideal so we gave him some heavy pain medication and set him up for a very long recovery. He required strict cage rest with minimal movement, but his future was bright. Today, Limp Biskit is healed, happy, and healthy. His medical journey was long, but we wanted to be there for him and give him the chance he deserved - and now he gets his chance at a loving new family!
