Lily was living as a stray outside trying to find people to feed her and care for her. She was being fed by someone but they never got her fixed and weren't allowed to bring her inside because of family members.
She was pregnant and spayed and brought inside by a LapCats foster who has worked with her confidence and trust.
She was a little nervous at first but wanted human attention and soaked up all the love. She appreciates being kept safely indoors.
She’s is very sweet and talks a lot so if you want a quiet cat, she might not be the best choice. She wants someone to talk to!.
Lily loves being held and will lay her head on your shoulder. She will follow you around and wants to be wherever you are. She has made friends with the resident cats, and they play chase together.
Before being inside she didn't know what toys were, but she loves them and will carry them around in her mouth like a dog. Her favorite place to sleep is on the cat scratcher in front of the window.
She would do well with other cats and respectful dogs and will need a patient adopter who will let her acclimate to her new surroundings at her own pace.
The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.
All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.
We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!
