Lily was rescued from the streets of NYC. She had hydrometra and needed her uterus removed. As a result of the extensive surgery and damage, she needs her bladder expressed a few times a day. Shed do fine in a home with other calm pets. Lily is very smart and picks up on routine quickly. Shes food motivated which helps with handling. Lately weve been working on her willingly going into her carrier. Her arch nemesis is the vacuum cleaner, she will sit and glare at you because how dare you! Fear free handling has gotten her to come out of her shell. She tolerates nail trims and Ive been able to do her nails on my own. Shes a lover girl and is definitely ready to have a lap to curl up in and a family to call her own.
